‘YIBU DANCE’ is a production entity founded in 2019 by the Kurt Jooss prize winning choreographer couple Chun Zhang and Kai Strathmann. Being experienced in Popping, LA style, ballet, Jooss-Leeder technique, Laban Bartenieff movement studies, Chinese classical dance and folklore, martial arts and Pilates as well as inspired by biology, anthropology, physics, physiology and spirituality, they establish a perceptive and transformative choreographic practice that represents sensation and possibility of life in a human body.
