The play speaks in the visual language of darkness as a stage on which the ego is confronted with the weight of its earthly existence and unlived possibilities, but also with an intimate and deep strength, the will to exist in this world.

“Tanz meets …” Special #2 is a collaboration between Tanz Station – Barmer Bahnhof (Wuppertal) and Studio Pro Arte (Freiburg). Meggie Malou as well as the duo Gaeun and Elias will rehearse for one week in Wuppertal and one week in Freiburg in November 2023. After that, they will present their results during the Herbsttanztage (“Autumn Dance Days”) at Studio Pro Arte.

The residents will receive artistic support and mentoring as an “outside eye” from Thusnelda Mercy & Pascal Merighi (merighi | mercy company) and Chantal Kohlmeyer (Studio Pro Arte, Frei Art Festival).
