The project is based on the exchange of universal themes and narratives that are linked to our personal life stories – those traces that have become inscribed in our bodies and have shaped our individual and collective identities. The differences and potential distances between the participants are addressed in such a way as to enable an authentic encounter.
In the way we see others – from the tension between what we want to see and what we actually see when we open ourselves up to them completely – is where authentic encounters arise. Seeing and listening form the foundation of this creative work and foster the development of a shared multicultural identity.
