HEART CONSTELLATION is an adaption of the play “Fitness” by the Belgian author Jacques De Decker.

HEART CONSTELLATION represents the encounter of two beings. This encounter symbolises a number of collisions where passion, struggle and other everyday life and existential situations are being staged. Initially, the play is the dramatic monologue of a woman driven by a double quest : physical and spiritual. During a bodybuilding session, she starts to remake the world (of the modern woman), to meditate on her life and her body. During this quest, the being reveals itself through various fractures and existential stances. The parts of the body are the expression of inner life.

In the first phase of the work in progress, the relationship man/woman was shown (duet Julie Hahn and Julien-Paul Remy). For the residency at Tanz Station – Barmer Bahnhof, we would like to start another research phase that will focus more on images of the modern woman (duet Lara Groeneweg and Julie Hahn).
