Mundhöhle wird Orakelhöhle 

What kind of space can open up the experiences inscribed in our bodies to transform them? How can a body be generated that functions as a kind of contemporary “Future Oracle”? A body that can find its own voice, that can create its “own song”, in which it can show its softness, vulnerability, but also pleasure and strength?
“Mundhöhle wird Orakelhöhle” (“Oral Cave Becomes Oracle Cave”) is a research with physical and vocal practices as well as light elements that explores the idea and forms of contemporary oracle bodies and spaces.

The artistic team:

Friederike Heine – Artistic direction, concept, choreography, performance
Friederike Heine is a performer, dancer and choreographer. Driven by a desire to create spaces for profound transformation, she works with the body as a gateway to unknown inner spaces to open up new ways of seeing identities. From a queer feminist perspective, she creates gentle spaces of togetherness. In her current artistic work, she researches practices and forms of contemporary oracular bodies and spaces.

Katharina Simons – Dramaturgy, choreographic advice
Katharina Simons is a freelance director for multimedia performance art. Since 2019, she has been publishing her artistic works under her label CUTTY SHELLS, which produce new perceptual phenomena in the field of tension between reality – virtuality and the material – immaterial. The focus of her artistic work is the examination of concepts of reality, their aspects of perception and forms of alienation.

Mona Sachße – Sounddesign, live sampling
is a singer, sound producer and performance artist. In her sound practice she works with unamplified space as well as with digital samples and voice processing. She understands her voice not only as a speaking expression, but also as a noise producer. In her academic research, she deals with the staging of female myths on sound levels.
