“The Silent Waltz of the Many” brought together around fifty citizens of Wuppertal, many with migration histories, alongside professional dancers, musicians, painters and photographers, in an immersive performance that unfolded through the spaces of the Pina Bausch Zentrum Wuppertal. A temporary community, built not on similarity but on shared experience. The performance is over. But the reverberation continues.

NACHHALL DER MANY is what comes after:

Three open gatherings, each with its own focus and its own small surprise, each carrying the questions the performance began into a wider conversation. These are not simple talks or Q&As. They are spaces where the artistic team, community participants, partner institutions and the public meet as equals, to reflect on what the creative act does to people and communities, to talk about participation, belonging, cultural life in the city, and what holds us together when we are not built on similarity.

We start with the body. With memory and storytelling, with what movement holds that words sometimes cannot. We move outward to the city, to institutions and responsibility, to what it means to keep making space for art that does not fit neatly into existing categories. And we close with a final performance and a question left open for next year.

Each gathering is moderated and free. Everyone is welcome, whether you were part of the performance, saw it, or are discovering it for the first time. Come as a curious listener. Come as a thinker. Come as someone who simply wants to be in the room when something real happens.
