In his latest solo creation KONT(R)A TEMPU, Cape Verdean dancer Nuno Barreto starts a race against time.

On the trail of individual (life) realities, interpersonal relationships, technological innovations – and their interactions – a personal artistic quest emerges. Driven by the need to create images from daily Cape Verdean life and to realize them with a view to movement and body interpretation.

Based on past and current research, the choreographer also questions himself as an interpreter: can he freely and truthfully recreate personal and other people’s experiences in his body?
