These questions and more are addressed in the next Bahnhofsgespräch (station talk) by five artists who are connected to dance and film in different ways:
Thusnelda Mercy (artistic direction Tanz Station – Barmer Bahnhof), Kim Münster (documentary filmmaker, Treibsand Film), Alexandra Waierstall (choreographer, artist), Prof. Erica von Moeller (professor for audiovisual media, author, director) und Kerstin Hamburg (designer, photographer, board of directors Tanzrauschen e.V.).
Presentation: Anne Brüne
Most of the artists work in Wuppertal or from Wuppertal; as co-creators, associated artists and cooperation partners, they work together with Tanz Station on various projects. The resulting international and local/regional artistic networks have led to cinematic presentations in urban spaces, at the Bahnhofs INVASION or the opening of CoWerk18.
As “station talkers”, the artists will exchange ideas, experiences and future possibilities with regard to the encounter – and mutual inspiration – of dance & film.
