Dance, performance and encounters – from workshops to German premieres: the Moving Encounter #Bukarest festival invites you to discover dance as an intense, shared experience.

Workshops to join in:

Game of Life – Workshop (8 + 11 October)
Contemporary dance, Butoh & improvisation. Participants will actively participate in the premiere of Game of Life: timeless experience for sorrow and love on 11 October at Tanz Station!

Centering Awareness – Workshop (9 October)
A journey through anatomy, senses and micro-movements. Open to professionals and curious minds – for anyone who wants to discover body awareness and a new language of movement.

Performances to experience:

In Search of the Lost Body – German premiere (10 October)
A labyrinth-like performance about life, death and new beginnings – poetic, intimate and emotionally powerful.

Game of Life – Performance (11 October)
An immersive and performative dance installation that blends dance, sound, video and audience. Followed by a discussion round In and About: And how do you dance?

Whether in a workshop or as a viewer, Moving Encounter #Bukarest turns dance into an experiential space for everyone!

„Moving Encounter #Bukarest“ is a joint collaboration by Tanz Station – Barmer Bahnhof and AREAL, developed in the frame of European Choreographic AREAL, a cultural project co-financed by the Administration of the National Cultural Fund in Romania.
