At the end of their ‘Tanz meets …’ residency, Amandine Berton and Ryan Drobner will give insights into their current projects as part of a showing.

Amandine Bertons “Allumez La Musique, Je Ne Vois Plus Rien” is a solo piece that explores solitude and the overwhelming emotions that arise from it. It seeks to depict how the body becomes the mirror of the heart, how states of mind turn into states of the body. This research-based work is structured around several choreographic tableaux, forming a micro-palette of the diversity of emotions felt when a human being is left alone, facing their body and their mind.

Ryan Drobner builds on a first residency (2025) at Tanz Station. Based on questions that arose in the studio at that time, the artist develops a collection of solos and duets. In the course of the work, Ryan’s original approach opened up to themes such as memory and time. As part of ‘Tanz meets …’, Ryan shapes these abstract ideas, improvisations and choreographic experiments into an open constellation of movement phrases and dances.

Following the showing, everyone is welcome to chat with the residents in a relaxed atmosphere, ask questions and share impressions.
