“In Search of the Lost Body” is a labyrinthique performance about life, death, cycles and new beginnings. This collective creation signed by the artists Alexandra Bălășoiu, Cristina Lilienfeld, Cosmin Manolescu, Valentina De Piante that was created in the fall of 2021 is a unique, intimate and emotional experience that talks about the bodies that we lost and (re)found during/ after the pandemic time.

The performance was presented until now in different versions at the AREAL space, National German Theatre in Timișoara and recently in July 2023 in a public garden of the Danza Urbana festival organised by AREAREA dance company from Udine (Italy) and Studio Alta Praga (2023).

In an adapted version the performance is premiered in Wuppertal as part of the mini-festival Moving Encounter #Bukarest, component of the European Choreographic AREAL, an exchange program proposed by AREAL in partnership with Tanz Station – Barmer Bahnhof Wuppertal, cultural project co-funded by Administration of the National Cultural Fund in Romania.
