Starting to perform together in 2001 in the Sasha Waltz & Guests production noBody, Clémentine Deluy and Nicola Mascia have been internationally sharing stages and artistic practices ever since.

After successfully creating their collaborative contemporary dance intensive program Tech 2 – Lab 1, the two will now commence a studio research for a joint choreographic study.

During their first residency at the Tanz Station in Wuppertal, they will embark on an exploration, challenging the conventions of the classical fe/male duet format.

An androgynous approach, breaking free from the restrictive binary gaze and perception, transcending the traditional stereotypical expectation of gender roles, performative behaviour and physical representation.
